Product description

A copper washer (copper sealing ring) is a metal gasket compressed between the head of a plug or fitting and its seat in a threaded connection. Annealed soft copper flows under load and fills small scratches and irregularities in the surface; it is a reliable, inexpensive and practical single-use seal for oil, fuel and hydraulic fluids at high temperature and pressure.

Where is it used?

Oil drain plugs in automotive and construction machinery maintenance, banjo and fitting connections in hydraulic systems, diesel injector and fuel lines, pressure gauge and sensor plugs. A new washer is recommended at every disassembly.
