01Tallow Packing
Soft braided packing made from first-grade cotton yarn, impregnated with original tallow, paraffin and graphite. Produced in our own factory in 5, 10 and 15 kg spools; economical, reliable sealing for pumps, valves and rotating shafts handling water, seawater and light oils. Available in yellow (standard) and white.

02PTFE Teflon Packing
Soft braided packing impregnated with PTFE dispersion. For pump and valve applications that demand chemical resistance, low friction and clean media.

03Fiberglass Tape
Woven fiberglass tape and strip made from alkali-free E-glass yarn. Heat insulation, soft sealing and protection up to 550 °C.

- What is soft gland packing and where is it used?
- Soft gland packing (braided packing) is a flexible sealing element made by braiding cotton, acrylic, PTFE or graphite yarns and impregnating them with lubricant or PTFE. It is installed as rings in the stuffing box of pumps and valves and prevents leakage along rotating or reciprocating shafts.
- Which applications is lubricated cotton packing suitable for?
- Lubricated (tallow-impregnated) cotton packing is an economical and reliable soft packing for pumps handling water, seawater and light oils, low to medium pressure valves, agricultural and irrigation pumps and ship engine rooms. The impregnation lubricates the shaft and reduces heat at start-up.
- What is the difference between PTFE packing and lubricated cotton packing?
- PTFE packing is preferred on acid, alkali and solvent lines, in clean media such as food and pharmaceuticals and at high shaft speeds thanks to its chemical resistance and low friction. Lubricated cotton packing is the more economical choice for water and light media.
- How do I determine the packing size?
- The cross-section equals half the difference between the stuffing box bore and the shaft diameter: (bore − shaft) / 2. For a 60 mm bore and 40 mm shaft, a 10 × 10 mm square section is used. If unsure, send us your dimensions.
- What are the minimum order quantity and lead time?
- Standard sections ship from stock in boxes from 1 kg. Custom sections, lengths or impregnations are produced on short lead times. We organise domestic and export shipments.
